I asked her about what she looks for in an idea, what makes it innovative and disruptive. We talked about getting over the bias against women when seeking capital and support for your great idea. Beyond business, we talked about why daring to dream is important and how we navigate accusations of selfishness, and silence our inner critics.

One of my three driving values is generosity – to live a life of contribution. I cannot do that if my well is dry, if my lamp lacks oil. So I can give to you, I must take care of my own soul — the collective of my body and my spirit.
