Whitney Johnson was a Wall St analyst who began in the trading floor secretarial pool and is now partner in the investment firm she co-founded, Rose Park Advisors. She is an investor at all levels. An investor in people, stocks and dreams. Whitney is adding author to her incredible list of accomplishments this May, with the launch of her book, Dare, Dream, Do: Remarkable Things Happen When You Dare to Dream *.
My partners and I are thrilled to be hosting Whitney in The Daily Thrive community this week for our inaugural Ten Buck Talk. Ten Buck Talks are where we bring top voices directly to you for an intimate conversation with an expert, aimed at providing robust conversations with successful women on the cutting edge of their careers. These talks complement the work of the Daily Thrive’s Experts who are dedicated to raising the bar for women in the areas of finance, work/life balance, productivity, negotiation, technology, nutrition, and more.
All are welcome to attend the talk, no membership is necessary. You will be part of a small, intimate group on the call. You can pose your questions whether they be on dreaming, on venture capital, on being a woman and cutting through in a man’s world or on Whitney’s special topic of disrupting yourself in innovative ways.
We ask our experts to choose a charitable project that impacts on women’s development. For this talk, $3 out every $10 will go to Rachel Cook’s documentary The Microlending Project.
You simply must join us this Wednesday February March 22nd at 7pm EST (4pm PST)! Register here.
